"Too many connection attempts"

Tunnels were opened or reconnected too often, and the service won't open a new one for a while. Wait and try again: the restriction lifts by itself.

ProximaClient shows it with one of these texts:

• "Too many connection attempts. Wait a moment and try again."
• "Too many reconnect attempts this hour. Try again later."
• "Too many tunnel requests. Wait a moment and try again."

What to do

1. Don't recreate the tunnel or click "Reconnect" several times in a row.
2. Wait and try again. Restarting the app doesn't lift the restriction.

If that didn't help

If the error doesn't go away, write to support through "Tech support" in the app menu with its exact text and when it appeared.
