"Node lost"

The ProximaMP node your tunnel ran through is unavailable right now. Click "Reconnect"; if the node is still down, wait or move to another node, but then the address for your friends changes.

The tunnel card then reads "The server that hosted this tunnel is unavailable."

What to do

  1. Click "Reconnect" on the tunnel card.
  2. If you see "The node is still unavailable — try again later.", choose one:
    • wait and click "Reconnect" later: while the address is held for you, the tunnel returns to it;
    • click "Switch to another server": the tunnel opens on another node at once, but "The public port will change.", and you need to send the new address to your friends.
  3. If you see "The address hold no longer exists — the old address can't be reclaimed. Switch to another server.", the old address is no longer yours: click "Switch to another server" and send the new address to your friends.

Since app version 1.3.0

If a game server's header shows "the tunnel is waiting for its address — the node is down" instead of the tunnel address, the app waits for the node to come back by itself. If you don't want to wait, click "New address" next to it and send the server's new address to your friends.

A tunnel can show the status "Waiting for its address". Its card then has a "Move to a new address" button; click it and the app asks "Move to a new address?". "Wait" waits for the old address's node to come back. "New address" moves the tunnel to a new address unless the old one comes back first; the old address stops working, and you need to send the new one to your friends.

If that didn't help

Write to support through "Tech support" in the app menu with the exact text from the tunnel card and when it appeared.
