Friends can't connect through the tunnel
Check in order: that the program on your computer is running, that its port and protocol match the tunnel, that your friends enter the address correctly, and that their game version matches.
What to do
- The server is running. If the tunnel's status is "Waiting for service to start", or the app says "The tunnel keeps reconnecting, but no data is passing through it", nothing accepts connections on the port. Start the server and wait until it has fully loaded: the tunnel picks it up by itself, with no need to recreate it.
Since app version 1.3.0
A TCP+UDP tunnel can show "Not answering over TCP" instead of "Waiting for service to start": its TCP side doesn't accept connections, and the app doesn't check UDP.
- The port matches. Open the tunnel and compare the port in "Destination address" with the program's port; a Minecraft server keeps it on the
server-portline ofserver.properties. If they differ, put the port from "Destination address" intoserver-portor your program's settings and restart the program. - The protocol fits. Minecraft: Java Edition works over TCP, Minecraft Bedrock over UDP. If it's the wrong one, delete the tunnel and create a new one: how.
- Your friends enter the whole address. The address goes in together with the port after the colon, for example
203.0.113.10:41234. How to enter the address in Minecraft Bedrock is in the Bedrock guide. - The game versions match. Your friends need the same game version as the server.
If that didn't help
Write to support through "Tech support" in the app menu and say which program it is, its port, the tunnel's protocol and what your friends see when they connect.
