"this key is signed in on as many devices as it may"

The full error text is "this key is signed in on as many devices as it may: sign one out (proximamp devices sign-out), or wait until one has been idle for 30 minutes". Up to 5 devices sign in with one device key at the same time, and all 5 are active now. The exit code is 5.

What to do​

  1. If containers sign in with the key, keep the sign-in in the /var/lib/proximamp volume (How to open a server in Docker with proximamp): without it, every new container signs in as a new device and takes a place. Make separate keys for separate servers.

  2. On a computer where you signed in with your password, VK ID, Yandex ID or a phone code, open the account's device list:

    proximamp devices

    The devices that signed in with this key say key "<name>" in the SIGNED IN WITH column.

  3. Sign out one you don't need:

    proximamp devices sign-out <id>

  4. Or wait: a device that hasn't renewed its sign-in for 30 minutes frees its place. An agent with a saved key or with PROXIMAMP_KEY tries again by itself, less and less often, up to every 16 minutes.
