"You need to agree to the EULA in order to run the server"
On its first start a Minecraft server creates its files and shuts down until you agree to the Minecraft license agreement (EULA). Accept it, and the server starts.
In the server console it looks like this:
[ServerMain/INFO]: You need to agree to the EULA in order to run the server. Go to eula.txt for more info.
What to do
If the server runs from ProximaClient, the app shows the "Minecraft EULA" window itself on the first start: tick the agreement box and click "Accept and start".
If you run the server yourself:
- Open the
eula.txtfile in the folder the server starts from. It appears after the first start. - Change the line
eula=falsetoeula=true. This confirms that you agree to the Minecraft license agreement. - Save the file and start the server again.
If that didn't help
Write to support through "Tech support" in the app menu with the error text from the console and when it appeared.
