"Address limit reached"
Every address on your plan is taken by open tunnels and by the reservations of disabled ones: a disabled tunnel holds its address for you so it can come back on it. Release a reservation you don't need, or move to a plan with more addresses.
ProximaClient shows it with an "Address limit reached" window saying "Every address on your plan is taken — by a tunnel or a held reservation. Closing a tunnel won't free one: the address moves to a reservation instead. Release a reservation you don't need, or upgrade." or the message "Your plan's address budget is used up. Release a reserved address or upgrade — closing a tunnel doesn't free one."
What to do
- Open "Tunnels". Disabled tunnels whose addresses are yours are marked "Reserved" in the list.
- Open a tunnel whose address you no longer need.
- Click "Release reservation". The address is freed, and a new tunnel can take its place.
An enabled tunnel's address is freed only by deleting the tunnel: right-click it in the list and choose "Delete".
If you need all the addresses, click "See plans" in the error window and move to a plan with more addresses; how many each plan has is in the plan comparison. A reservation also ends by itself when its time runs out: the tunnel card shows "Port reserved · … left".
